These dried golden berries, or gooseberries, are my favorite of the Navitas ’superfood’ products. They are very tart and pleasant-tasting. They are packed with seeds, and thus have a lot of protein and nutrients. I keep a bag in my desk, and pop a handful in my mouth as a quick pick-me-up at work. They are much better than candy in that regard. They are a quick source of energy without the guilt and without the sugar crash.

These are awesome. I feel a burst of sunshine and energy when I eat a handful of these, so tart and yummy. And full of antioxidants. Great in salads, smoothies (soaked, because they are have little tough parts on the top I guess where they were picked), pudding and really good in a snack bag with a few squares of super dark chocolate and dried cherries (a little treat I keep in the car). And one bag lasts a long time.
