Kashi Puffed Cereal, 7.5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) Reviews
Normally, unsweetened puffed cereal is an eating experience best compared to munching on a styrofoam cup. But not Kashi puffed cereal. The whole grains (wheat, brown rice, spelt, sesame, buckwheat, triticale and others) are Kashi’s special blend and they make for a tender-crunchy mix that has flavor. I like it so well, I eat it dry as a snack instead of nuts or chips. The different grains have different textures and density, making it an interesting cereal yet light, low in calories and healthy. It’s good this comes in batches of six boxes because I certainly go through it.
I love Kashi more than any other food on this planet! Seriously! I buy cases of 12 boxes and sometimes eat it 2-3 times a day. With milk and fruit, with yogurt and fruit or just with milk when I want it plain. There’s something addictive about it. Wonderful crunch and such natural flavor! It fills me up and I feel good when I eat it. My grocery store ran out and I bought some puffed wheat…blech! I ate it but it got soggy, didn’t have much flavor and just wasn’t my Kashi! I hope this never gets discontinued because I seriously wouldn’t know what to replace it with and it’s a huge staple in my diet!!
I am not as old as many of the people who reviewed Kashi Puffs, so I find myself dissatisfied with it’s flavor. No biggie, I actually add a bit of cocoa powder and sugar and it is delicious! A much healthier alternative to Rice Krispies. The price on the cereal here is much better then locally; four dollars a box at my local grocery store. I love Kashi and am very glad to have found it so reasonably priced on Amazon.
