I had an old wool sweater that was unwearable because of massive pilling. I tried a Remington Plus fabric shaver on it; no improvement whatsoever. I took a chance and ordered the Seiko, used it, and now my sweater looks like it’s brand new. It’s great!. The shaver even comes with two AA batteries, so it’s ready to go and easy to use. It’s small and lightweight, but it does what it’s supposed to do. Heartily recommended.

This is the most expensive sweater shaver I found but I decided to purchase it because it’s a Japanese product and the reviews here were very good. This shaver is *fantastic* and worth every penny. I haven’t stopped shaving things since it arrived. I’ve shaved sweaters, cheap fleece, dresses, pants, cotton shirts & skirts, and all of my socks. My old sweaters look new. I shaved the insides of socks, pants, and sweaters and they feel so much softer. I’ve shaved so much that I had to purchase new blades. If you have a lot of clothing to shave I recommend using rechargeable batteries. Caution: you do have to be pay attention and be careful. I snagged one of my sweaters a couple of times because I was watching tv and not looking at the sweater. It’s best to work in bright light on a hard surface.

Loved this product. I’m so glad I bought this ’cause it saved me money. It was easy to use and I got all the balls off my sweaters, so I didn’t have to purchase ANOTHER black sweater. LOVE!
